The former treasurer Stephanie Hawks tried to make the president aware of the problems and says was told not to rock the boat until the season is over.

But the Pinellas School District has found several violations including:

The first hint is in the education transition team he's formed. Hillsborough school superintendent MaryEllen Elia is on the list but some key classroom players are missing.

Dunedin High School teacher Brandt Robinson feels left out of Governor Elect Rick Scott's education transition team are teachers, principals and union representatives. "You got to work out the details and work it out with the people on the ground who knows best," says Robinson.

Why do they call it that? Clearwater and Hudson

Why do they call it that? Clearwater and Hudson

One's a place where explorers on the verge of death knew they could find water to keep them alive. The other's also a spot with very old aquatic connections.

Why do they call it Clearwater?

The U.S. Army built a fort on the bluffs here before the Civil War.

It was named after William Henry Harrison, the poor guy who would become famous for serving just one month as president before he died.

"There were a bunch of forts that were established -- for a short term -- during the Second Seminole War, Fort Harrison being one of them," said Rodney Kite-Powell, the curator of history at the Tampa Bay History Center.

The fort was only used briefly, then shut down. In its place, settlers moved in to get their hands on free government land.

A disappearing lake, a violin, and a bad Spanish translation -- all three may have helped give Largo its name.

We took The Morning Show LIVE to Ulmer Park in Downtown Largo on Wednesday, November 3rd!

Thank you to the City of Largo and several businesses in Largo's Old Northwest neighborhood and other areas for their support!

Why do they call it Largo?

This city in central Pinellas County was named for Lake Largo.

But, umm, look around. There's no Lake Largo here.

Are you confused yet? Well, confused is how you might describe the guy who named Lake Largo in the first place.
