CLEARWATER, FL - Teens and adults will enjoy special September programs offered at the Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave., Clearwater, including a festival of Sherlock Holmes films and a club for teens interested in anime/manga illustrations and video:

Teen Anime/Manga Club: Teenagers are invited to join this illustrative club to watch, draw and/or discuss anime/manga style art, Saturdays, Sept.3 and 17 at 2 p.m.

Films on the Bluff: A new series of art house and foreign films begins Sept. 3, 2 p.m. at the Main Library. Call for titles and information on the free event.

Sherlock Holmes Film Festival: Bring the entire family for a screening of the 2009 film starring Robert Downy, Jr. and Jude Law. The free event includes Sherlock Holmes trivia, prizes, a screening of the 1944 Basil Rathbone film, The Scarlet Claw and is sponsored by Pleasant Places of Florida.
