Trees and Traditions exhibit to light up Heritage Village

Largo, FL - To add some history into your holiday, Heritage Village in Largo is filling its 21-acre living history museum with authentic period decorations now through Dec. 30 during their annual Trees and Traditions display. 

According to the Pinellas County officials, "Each of the village’s historic houses will be decorated true to its time period, locality and lifestyle, from an elaborately decorated Victorian home, to a simply adorned 1852 log cabin."

Local artists wanted for 2011 Leepa-Rattner exhibit

Tarpon Springs, FL - As The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art announces the dates for its 2011 Artists Market, which will be held on Mar. 26 and 27 next year, local artists are invited to fill out a free application to participate in the program.

Selected artists will be notified if they are one of the 25 invited to participate in the free two-day festival, which will be held in the LRMA's award-winning building on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Peteresburg College, which was designed by area architect Ed Hoffman, Jr.

A wide variety of media will be included, so all types of artists are welcome. Those selected will be able to showcase and sell their work in support of the museum and Isabelle's Museum Store.
