A new investor wants to sink $250,000 into the Aquabella’s property at the corner of Shore and Beach Boulevards, according to Vice Mayor Dan Liedtke. However, the investor wants to add a package store into the property, which would function as a “well-designed” restaurant. Council would have to look at the 1992 ordinance that does not allow liquor stores or bars in the Waterfront Redevelopment District.
