Ceviche owners to open new steakhouse

St. Petersburg, Florida  -- A new dining option in Downtown St. Petersburg.

The owners of Ceviche also known as Caledon Concept Partners Corporation have plans to open a new steak-centric restaurant in the former YWCA building in September called Rococo Steak.

The property located at 655 2nd Avenue South is revamped with a year-long muli-million dollar renovation to create 170 dining and lounge seats in the the 9,500 square foot space.

The menu will not only include steak dishes, but fish and cuisine unique to St. Pete.

Changes in taxes may come for some St. Pete businesses

St. Petersburg, FL - City leaders are working to see more areas of the city thrive and reap the benefits of millions of dollars in tax breaks. 

The Enterprise Zone Development Agency has come up with a proposal that would give businesses located on Central Ave and 34th Street and other depressed areas a chance at state tax refunds.  These would be use for hiring and or building new hotels.

Tarpon Springs, Florida -- Speeding tickets can take a big bite out of your wallet.  But if you get one outside Frankie's Patriot BBQ on Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs, at least you can save a little money on food.

Frankie's tells 10 News, police have been holding speed traps in front of the restaurant for about a week now--even pulling violators into the parking lot to hand out tickets.

Pinellas County, Florida -- Applications are now being accepted for an appointment to the Pinellas County Tourist Development Council. This appointment is valid until Oct. 31, 2016.

The Tourist Development Council and staff of Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater are responsible for making recommendations to the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners on matters relating to the Tourist Development Tax. This tax is used to strengthen the local economy and increase employment through the ongoing promotion and development of Pinellas County’s tourism industry.

Chase to open new location in old Boston Market

Chase to open new location in old Boston Market

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Chase customers will soon find a new Chase branch on 4th Street North at 38th Avenue North, the former location of Boston Market. Construction has begun on the project.

Chase recently moved it's North Shore location also on 4th Street North a block north from the corner of 8th Avenue North, adding a drive thru service.
