The Largo Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce wants you to show yours off at their Annual Logo/Marketing Competition Business-to-Business Luncheon on Tuesday, March 15, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

The luncheon will be held at Lake Seminole Square at 8333 Seminole Blvd. in Largo.  The luncheon is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-member guests.

Wheel Fun Rentals expanded to a new location at Lake Seminole Park.  It offers exercise, fun, and family time with it's pedal boats.

Its fleet includes pedal-driven cycles, surreys, a family four-wheeled cycle.  Some of the boats can seat up to 6 people.

The IRS will help answer questions, address concerns, letter or notice resolutions, tax return issues, and more.

The open house is this tomorrow, February 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 9450 Koger Boulevard, Saint Petersburg, FL 33702.

Beach's reclaimed water fees lowered

St. Pete Beach -- It will now cost less to add or remove your reclaimed water service in St. Pete Beach.

After a resident complained about the $250 fee to disconnect his reclaimed water, the city did some research.

The city found it an average of $97 for the disconnection with administrative costs.

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (AP) -- The St. Petersburg City Council may not like a cost-cutting idea proposed by the city administrator.

Tish Elston suggested this week that the city could save at least $150,000 a year by cutting three seats from the eight-member city council. She outlined her plan Tuesday to a nine-member board reviewing changes to the city's charter.

The council members make annual salaries and benefits of about $50,000 each.
