St. Pete welcomes Florida's first electric car dealership
St. Petersburg, FL -- Florida's first green city marks another first: the opening of the state's only all-electric car and truck dealership.
On Friday, Jan. 21 at 1:30 p.m., city and county leaders, along with representatives from the offices of Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Tampa) and Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Florida), will gather for ribbon-cutting ceremonies at Suncoast Electric Vehicles, 2401 Fourth St. N.
The public is also invited to attend the opening of one of Florida's greenest retail businesses.
"We live in St. Petersburg and want to be a part of moving our community forward with green, zero emission vehicles."
The opening of Suncoast Electric Vehicles is the result of many years of research, the result of which makes St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay area the ideal location for Florida's first all electric car and truck dealership.
