Flanagan's to hold fundraiser for owner recovering from major surgery | Community Spirit
Dunedin, Florida -- The staff of Flanagan's Irish Pub is holding a fundraiser on March 23 to help owner Noel Cooney get through his post-surgery stint.
Noel recently underwent a quadrupel bypass and has had to step back from his usual work schedule while he recovers.
The fundraiser on Friday night will run from 7 p.m till late. There will be live music from Peter Robinson, Wayne Gladney, Jack McGuire and Brendan Nolan plus a performance from the bagpipes and drums from the Dunedin Pipe Band.
There will also be an auction, raffle prizes and giveaways.
There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door which will include one raffle ticket.
Flanagan's is still accepting donations for the raffle and any financial donations can be dropped off at the pub at 465 Main Street through Friday.
