BungalowFest Benefit for the Children's Cancer Center

This year’s famous Historic Kenwood’s BungalowFest will include a Designer Show Home to benefit the Children's Cancer Center, a Tampa Bay non-profit whose mission is helping children with cancer and chronic blood disorders.

A Gala Preview Party and fundraiser will be held at the Designer Show Home on Friday, Nov 4 from 6 pm-9:30 pm to celebrate the beginning of "BungalowFest - A Celebration of Art and Architecture." The Gala will include a preview Show Home tour, a designer meet-and-greet, and a catered bounty of delicious treats and beverages. Only 300 tickets are available for the Gala Preview Party and also include admission to the homes on the BungalowFest Home Tour on Saturday.

The Designer Show Home will feature four separate apartment homes in two historic, recently restored dwellings located in Historic Kenwood, St. Petersburg. All of the apartments will contain high-end furnishings. In addition, balconies and courtyard between the two buildings will also be on display.

Bob Jeffrey and his sister Lynn, are the owners of the Designer Show Home apartments.  They purchased what had been a sadly neglected property and turned it into a marvelous renovation and neighborhood addition.

The Designer Show Home will be open on the day of BungalowFest, Saturday Nov. 5 10am-4pm and will remain open for visits on Sunday Nov 6, 11am-4pm; Saturday Nov 12, 10am-4pm; Sunday Nov 13, 11am-4pm; and Saturday Nov 19, 10am-4pm.

The Designer Show Home is not included in the price of the Home Tour ticket. Tickets to the Designer Show Home must be purchased separately, and may be purchased online or at the Pavilion in Historic Kenwood's Seminole Park.
