St. Pete Police search for hit-and-run suspect | Crime
St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Pete Police are searching for the driver of a car who hit a pedestrian and fled the scene Tuesday night.
Police say the unidentified man was crossing the intersection at 34th Street North and 32nd Avenue North from east to west when he was hit by a car heading south on 34th Street in the curb lane around 9:05 p.m.
The man was rushed to Bayfront Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the car kept driving without stopping or calling for help. The car is described as an 80's to early 90's Cadillac or Lincoln, grey or silver in color. The car will most likely have damage to the right front corner and right side of the vehicle. There may also be damage to the hood and front windshield.
