Neighbor dispute ends in shooting

Seminole, Florida -- A Seminole man was arrested Wednesday after deputies say he shot his neighbor whom he has reportedly has an ongoing dispute with.

Pinellas Sheriff's deputies say 47-year-old Richard Wacker came to Donald Hindes' home to confront him about the dispute, but Hindes didn't answer the door.

A short time later, around 9 p.m., Hindes was in his car at the gate to leave the Kapok Grand Subdivision, when Wacker jumped out of the bushes and started pounding on Hindes' car window.

Hindes, 81, then pulled out a gun and shot at Wacker who was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Hindes was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and has since bonded out.
