Crime

Gulfport, Florida -- A Pinellas school district IT technician was arrested this week after police discovered she pawned two iPads and a laptop that belonged to the district.

Deputies say in January and March, 37-year-old Angeleta Washington pawned the computers assigned to Boca Ciega High School and Gulfport Elementary. As part of her job, Washington had access to a master key to schools.

She was arrested Thursday on several charges of grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
