Brown Boxer former bouncer charged in customer's death

Clearwater, Florida -- A former bouncer at a Clearwater Beach restaurant turned himself in Wednesday morning after police say he caused the death of a patron on Oct. 14.

Clearwater Police detectives say 43-year-old Paul Stucker was working at the Brown Boxer on Mandalay Avenue when he tried to remove David McTamney from the bar because McTamney was reportedly drunk and was disruptive.

Update: Inmate who walked off work detail arrested

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Update: Pinellas Sheriff's deputies have located and arrested an inmate who walked away from his work clean-up detail Tuesday.

Investigators say 29-year-old Jonathan Jones was assigned to a work crew conducting a clean-up detail at the baseball field located at 4145 34th Street North in St. Petersburg (behind the VFW).

Deputies say Jones walked away from the work detail that was being supervised by jail staff.

Armed robber of Clearwater gas station sought

Clearwater, Florida -- Pinellas County detectives are asking for the public's help locating an armed robbery suspect who robbed a Clearwater gas station on Dec. 11.

Detectives say the man walked into the Chevron gas station in the 23900 block of US Highway 19 N in Clearwater around 10:51 p.m. armed with a handgun.

Former employee returns to rob Sweetbay

Tarpon Springs, Florida -- Police say a former employee of the Sweetbay Supermarket on S. Pinellas Avenue made a return to his old place of business, to rob it.

Tarpon Springs Police say on Dec. 10 two men entered the grocery store at about 9:35 p.m., trying to conceal their identity. While one of them served as lookout, the other approached the customer service desk with a note demanding money, and threatened to harm the employee if the money wasn't handed over.

The employee handed the man $1,700 in cash and the two suspects fled on foot toward the Pinellas Trail.

Largo man arrested for molesting 6-year-old girl

Largo, Florida -- Pinellas County detectives have arrested a Largo man for allegedly molesting a 6-year-old girl at a home on Dec. 15.

Detectives began to investigating Adam Bollenback after it was reported that he inappropriately touched the girl as she was sitting on his lap and he sexually gratified himself.

Detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Bollenback, 28, and he was arrested on Tuesday.

Human Trafficking Task Force arrests man with teen girl

Clearwater, Florida -- A multi-agency investigation has led to multiple charges against an Oldsmar man who allegedly planned to take a 16-year-old girl out of state to use drugs with her and have sex with her.

The investigation on 21-year-old Carlos Garcia was done as part of the Clearwater/Tampa Bay Area Task Force On Human Trafficking, which is made up of multiple partners from law enforcement and other types of agencies.

Authorities credit the proactive sharing of information to help keep the minor girl from being taken out of state.

Burglar needs surgery to remove stolen necklaces from stomach

Clearwater, Florida -- A man arrested in connection with a home burglary in Safety Harbor underwent surgery to remove two necklaces police discovered he ingested after they showed up in an X-ray during booking.
