Clearwater, Florida -- He was her high school sweetheart. In fact, she kept a scrapbook, filled with photos of their prom and homecoming pictures showing their smiling faces pressed tightly together.

Even the mother of Melissa Dohme said, "I always felt like she was protected with him. I never worried."

But, that's not the way things ended between Melissa and her ex-boyfriend Robert Burton.

Gulfport, Florida -- The bulk of this week’s crime on St. Pete Beach revolved around a rash of vehicle burglaries by the Don CeSar. According to Cristen Rensel, a spokesperson for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), “it appears all the vehicles were unlocked” at the time of the burglaries. She reminds people to lock their vehicles at all times.

Tarpon Springs, Florida -- A Tarpon Springs mother is facing multiple charges of child neglect after police say she bought alcohol for five minors, four of which were treated for alcohol poisoning at nearby hospitals.

Police say Mellisa Mundell took three of the kids to a liquor store where she bought a bottle of Barcardi rum and Coke. She then brought them back to her home in the 1600 block of Fox Run Drive and served them drinks, including her own child.

Pinellas Sheriff launches internal investigation into deaths

Clearwater, Florida -- Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri has launched an internal affairs investigation into the deaths of two men while in custody back in July.

Sheriff Gualtieri said he believes agency policies were violated in the deaths of Kelly Harding and Thomas Murrow and an in-depth review by Internal Affairs was needed.

On July 6, Thomas Morrow died about two months after being severely injured during transport to the Pinellas County Jail by another detainee, Leonard Lanni, who was drunk and disorderly at the time.

Pinellas Park man arrested on 11 counts of child porn

Pinellas Park, Florida -- A 22-year-old Pinellas Park man was arrested at his home Wednesday after an undercover investigation revealed he was sharing child porn on the Internet.

After the nearly two-month investigation that began in June, detectives gathered enough evidence to search Aaron Barnhart's home in the 6000 block of 109th Avenue North Wednesday morning.

Barnhart was interviewed by detectives and admitted to the allegations.

Man with drawn on beard robs Fifth Third Bank in Largo

Largo, Florida -- The Largo Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the man who robbed a Largo Fifth Third Bank Tuesday afternoon.

Largo Police say the man walked into the bank in the 1600 block of S. Missouri Avenue around 1:34 p.m. wearing what appeared to be a beard, however, witnesses say looked it more like he had painted it on to obscure his identity. He handed the teller a note demanding money and ran off once he got it.
