Police: Man ran over wife with their minivan

Pinellas Park, FL -- Pinellas Park police are still trying to figure out what sparked an argument that they say led to a husband running over his wife with their minivan.


Kenneth Roberts, 60, was arrested behind the Publix grocery store at 7585 47th St. N. in Pinellas Park on Sunday, where police say it all happened.


Sgt. Eric Leshick of the Pinellas Park Police Department says, "She got out of the vehicle and started walking away, at which point he turned his vehicle around and then ran her over".

Pinellas County, FL -- Deputies are currently working an overnight homicide in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue South in Tierra Verde.


According to investigators, around 3 o'clock Saturday morning an intruder forced his way into the home, struggled with the homeowner. While they were struggling another person who was home at the time shot and killed the intruder.

Island Estates man charged with DUI Manslaughter

Clearwater, Florida -- An Island Estates resident was arrested Friday night on a felony charge of DUI manslaughter.

Jail records show Jonathan P. Grinsted, 51, of 48 Midway Island was taken into custody at 8:46 p.m. and booked into the Pinellas County jail at 10:30 p.m.

He was being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Details of the arrest were expected to be released Saturday.

Clearwater, Florida - Police have arrested four people on drug charges and seized narcotics and cash from the house where three of the suspect lived.

Arrested Wednesday are Amanda Walter, 29, Jeremy Gilbert, 31, and Brian Tretter, 21, all of 1375 Barry Street, and Marcus McAffee, 28, of 55 Jasper St., Largo.

Police say they received information the four were involved in the sales and distribution of various types of narcotics and arrange a buy of oxycodone. A follow-up search warrant led to a search of the home and recovery of 121 oxyvodone pills, 100 pieces of crack cocaine, 140 grams of marijuana and...

Seminole student charged in 'Columbine-type' plot

Seminole, Florida - A 10th grader at Seminole High School has been arrested in a plot to kill fellow students in a "Columbine-type" assault on campus.

Nathanial Zeno, 16, of Seminole is charged with one count of solicitation to commit murder.

Investigators say he tried to recruit a fellow student, telling him he "was targeting people that had a history of being cruel or neglectful to animals," the sheriff's office said in a statement Thursday night.

Maxine Williams-Salter, 61, of St. Petersburg, allegedly defrauded Sun Trust Bank on a $382,500 mortgage for a second home in Lutz by falsely stating her income, source of income and assets.

Antorrio "Big Bo" Williams, 27, of Tampa conspired to distribute 1,000 kilograms of marijuana in Pinellas County between 2001 and 2010, the indictment stated.
