Largo, Florida -- Join the city of Largo at the McGough Nature Park for this year's Spring Ecofest and Arbor Day Celebration.

On Saturday, April 20 from 11am-2pm, enjoy a variety of festivities including a free tree give-a-way, activities for kids, food and environmental exhibits. There's something for everyone to enjoy! Families can also celebrate at Southwest Recreation Complex on April 22, from 1-3pm at Tots Celebrate Earth Day. Kids will learn the importance of taking care of our planet with hands on activities, live animal appearances, interactive games and recycled craft projects. Parent participation is required and snacks will be provided. Tots Celebrate Earth Day is for ages three and up. Cost is $5 in advanced and $8 at the door. The City of Largo will also host Shredfest, a free, paper shredding event where residents can bring their personal documents to be securely shredded and recycled. This one-day only event will take place Saturday, April 20, 9am-1pm at 1551 Starkey Rd. Attendees can bring up to five file boxes of paper per car to be shredded and recycled.
