Pinellas County, Florida -- Pinellas County commissioners and the county administrator will be spending quality time with the public on Wednesday, April 10, at Pinellas County’s 2014 Budget Community Forum.

It’s the community’s chance to find out more about Pinellas County programs and services and provide feedback on next year’s budget. As the county works on a strategic direction for the future, they are asking citizens to share their own vision of the community and of Pinellas County as a whole.

The open house will be in the SPC Digitorium common area from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. where visitors can meet with their county commissioners and county administrator.

From 7 to 8 p.m., the live eTownHall will be presented inside the Digitorium in front of an audience, and will be online where people from throughout the county can log on and participate. County commissioners and the county administrator will respond to comments and questions from the live audience, and those send in via the blog, Twitter and phone.

This year’s event will be moderated by Bay News 9 senior anchor Al Ruechel, with Dr. William D. Law Jr., president of St. Petersburg College, providing an introduction.

There are five ways to participate in the eTownHall:

  1. Be part of the live audience.
  2. Blog on www.pinellascounty.org/eTownHall. The blog opens at 9 a.m. Monday, April 8.
