Learn Pet CPR and First Aid in Pinellas!

Are you a resident of Pinellas County who loves and cares for animals? If so, the Humane Society of Pinellas, Inc. (HSP) is giving you an opportunity to learn “Snout2Tail assessment”, pet first aid, CPR, rescue breathing, and bleeding protocols.

HSP is Pinellas County’s largest no-kill animal shelter. The organization has dedicated over 60 years to the Pinellas community by providing care to homeless pets, and sticking to their mission of  keeping pets and people together through programs like their Low Cost Vaccine Clinic and Pet Food Pantry.

The Pet First Aid class will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Human Society of Pinellas from 11 a.m. -  2 p.m., located at 3040 State Road 590 in Clearwater. The class will be taught by Certified PetTech First Aid Instructor Julie Smith. Registration is $40 per person, and includes an instructional book.

Click here to register online, or call (727) 797-7722 x230.

You can join HSP as they compete to save more lives this  June, July, and August than ever before. It's all happening under their "Pick Me! Project"- a part of the 2013 ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.
