I (HEART) My Library Photo Contest: now until Friday, July 26. All library branches. Send in digital photos of you and/or your friends enjoying a Clearwater library for a chance to win one of ten, $50 gift cards. Entry forms and information are available at myclearwater.com/cpl. All ages are welcome.

MONDAY, July 22

Delightful Digging into Treasured Tales: 2 p.m., Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Professional storyteller Pat Nease leads this audience participation storytelling program. Groups of ten or more please pre-register.

The Not Really Improv Group, 2:30 p.m., Countryside Library, 2741 S.R. 580. Improvisational acting for teens.

TUESDAY, July 23

Marcela's Masters: Storytime Extravaganza: 11 a.m., East Library, 2251 Drew St. Stories of famous artists, arts and crafts.

Stop Action Movie Production/Florida 500 Edition: 4:30 p.m., East Library, 2251 Drew St. Celebrate Florida's 500th birthday by producing a stop-action movie. Library provides cameras, computers and materials. You provide the talent.

Story Race - Viva Florida 500 Edition: 2 p.m., N. Greenwood Library, 905 N. MLK, Jr. Ave. Dig into reading with an exciting story adventure drawn from Florida's history. The first to solve the story wins a special prize. Fun and prizes for all.

WEDNESDAY, July 24

Pirate Raid: 2:30 p.m., Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Pirates are invading the teen room. Card games, root beer, (cardboard tube) swordplay. If you cheat you'll walk the plank! Pirate costumes optional, but encouraged.

Kid's Chess Club, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., Countryside Library, 2741 S.R. 580. All skill levels are welcome. Bring a chessboard.

THURSDAY, July 25

The Main Thing - Geocaching: 2 p.m., Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Second to fifth graders can learn how to use a GPS for geocaching. Second graders please bring a parent or guardian.

Book Mosaics with Nancy Kraus: 2 p.m., Countryside Library, 2741 S.R. 580. Create art collages with literary inspiration. For school-age children. Please pre-register.

SATURDAY, July 27

Underground Art: 2 p.m., Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Teens are invited to deconstruct and reconstruct old things into new. Make Steampunk fashions, zombie dolls and more.

Summer Reading Finale: 2 p.m., East Library, 2251 Drew St. Crafts, games and prize drawings for the whole family.

College Prep Series: 2 p.m., Countryside Library, 2741 S.R. 580. Alumni teens share their college freshman year experiences with college-bound high school students. Find out everything you need to know from dorm life to getting the classes you want. Parents and students welcome.
