Antiques & Collectibles Show returns to Coliseum | Events
St. Petersburg, FL -- Re-used, recycled and re-purposed furniture, jewelry, art and more will fill St. Petersburg's historic Coliseum as it hosts Florida's top antiques show - Sunshine City Antiques & Collectibles Show - Jan. 13-15, 2012.
The Sunshine City Antiques & Collectibles Show runs Friday, Jan. 13 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 14 & 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $6 for adults. Paid admission is good for the entire weekend.
Children 12 & under are free. Parking is also free. The Coliseum is located at 535 4th Ave. North in downtown St. Petersburg.
The nation's top antiques dealers will fill the Coliseum with 100 exhibit booths of antique furniture, art, jewelry, porcelain, pottery & glass, silver, vintage clothing, vintage toys and books.
St. Petersburg's antiques show also features a two-day Appraisal Fair. Antique appraising has become a hot business - spurred on by the cult-like success of the Antiques Road Show - the most watched series on PBS. The Appraisal Fair runs 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Have a drawer filled with broken jewelry or a chipped vase? Don't scrap it, bring it to the Coliseum. A vintage jewelry repair expert, as well as glass repair experts will be on hand the entire weekend during show hours.
