Pinellas buys state's first Farm To School citrus of 2012-13 season

Safety Harbor, Florida -- Pinellas County Schools announces they have cleaned out this season’s first tangelo harvest of Arcadia’s Joshua Citrus Inc. farm as part of the Department of Agriculture’s Farm to School initiative. 

District leaders will greet the first school delivery of this season’s Florida citrus on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Safety Harbor Middle School.

Clearwater, Florida -- The City of Clearwater Therapeutic Recreation Services, in collaboration with Parent Power Series and Morton Plant Mease, will present a program on the signs and treatment of Autism on Monday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m.

The seminar will be held at the Aging Well Center Grand Room in the Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road.

The open house will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5 - 7 p.m., at the Breast Care Center. It's located on the second floor of the hospital at 1395 S. Pinellas Avenue.
