Grow Financial implements smoke-free campus

Tampa, Florida -- As of July 1, all Grow Financial locations became tobacco and smoke-free environments at the corporate office and across the 18 branches in the Tampa Bay area.

This announcement was first made in October of 2011 with the hope that current tobacco users would take advantage of these past months and work toward eliminating use of tobacco products.

From 6 - 8:30 p.m., grab some friends or come solo as you dance your stress away to the sounds of international rhythms. Enjoy healthy treats, prize drawings, fitness related vendors and more.

Cost is $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event. Child care is provided for potty-trained children ages 3-8 for an additional $3.

With the recent rains from Tropical Storm Debby, mosquitoes are again going to be on the wing in Pinellas County. 

Pinellas County Mosquito Control technicians are aggressively treating known breeding areas, by ground and by air, as well as responding to calls from citizens. Technicians have noted that many homes they’ve inspected also have items or areas that contain standing water – the ideal breeding condition for mosquitoes – and are contributing to the mosquito problem.
