County offices close for Thanksgiving | News
Pinellas County, Florida -- Pinellas County government offices will be closed for Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session, except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
The Solid Waste Administration Building and HEC3 will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov 23. HEC3 will be open regular hours on Saturday, Nov. 24. The scalehouse/landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, and will reopen at its regular time on Friday, Nov. 23. The scalehouse/landfill will also be open Saturday, Nov. 24, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parks and Conservation Resources administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23. Pinellas County parks and the Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open on Thursday, Nov. 22, but will be closed on Friday, Nov. 23, with the exception of Fort De Soto Park, beach access areas and stand-alone boat ramps (Park Boulevard, Belleair Causeway and Southerland Bayou). The Florida Botanical Gardens will open at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, for the first night of Holiday Lights in the Gardens.
The Environmental Education Center at Brooker Creek Preserve, the Cultural and Natural History Center at Weedon Island Preserve, Pinellas County Extension and Heritage Village will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23.
All Pinellas County facilities will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Nov. 26.
