Tarpon Springs, Florida -- Voters in Tarpon Springs have picked David Banther to join the City Commission.

Banther bested three other candidates in Tuesday's municipal election to take Seat 4 on the City Commission.  He won just under 41% of the vote--beating out Timothy Keffalas (28%), Jim Bouldin and Tommy Frain (who both won 15% of the vote.)

Banther, 30, is already a member of the Tarpon Springs Budget Advisory Committee and a past member of the city's Heritage Preservation Board.  He is general manager at Banther Consulting Corporation.
