New high rise hotel planned for south Clearwater beach | News
Clearwater, Florida - A new 15-story hotel is being planned on the spot where the Adam's Mark hotel once stood.
The city confirmed today that Ocean Properties plans to build a 230-room hotel with a bar, restaurant and five-level parking garage on South Gulfview Boulevard.
The site has been a parking lot since the demolition of the Adam's Mark hotel in 2005.
"It's a well designed project and one which we have supported in the past and anticipate continuing to as it moves forward," said city Planning and Development Director Michael Delk. "We are pleased with the quality of the design of the building and site."
Formal plans are expected to be presented to the Community Development Board before summer.
