CLEARWATER, Florida (AP) -- Police say a St. Petersburg woman has been arrested on an aggravated manslaughter charge after she left her 10-month-old grandson unattended in the bathtub.

Clearwater police said Monday that 42-year-old Andrea Wooten was baby sitting grandson Antwan Hill in September when she left him in the tub for what she said was between a half hour and two hours. An emergency crew was called, but the child died later at a hospital.

Police said Wooten showed signs of intoxication and tested positive for the anti-anxiety drug Xanax.

The warrant was issued Nov. 22, and Wooten was arrested Thursday. No attorney information was available.
