St. Petersburg, FL -- A big weekend ahead for the more than 550 freshmen and returning students moving into the University of South Florida St. Petersburg residence halls for the start of the Fall 2013 semester. 

The first day of classes is Monday.

Both the Residence Hall One located at 500 2nd Street South and the Residential Tower at the University Student Center located at 200 6th Avenue South will be at capacity for the fall semester. 

In order to accommodate students, Second Street South between 5th Avenue Sout and 6th Avenue South will be closed to thru traffic.

Students can begin moving in at 9 a.m. on both days, but the peak times are expected at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
