D.R.O.P. to give out freebies at Mayor's Night Out

St. Petersburg, Florida-- You can meet members of the city's newest crime fighting unit - the D.R.O.P. team - at Mayor's Night Out. 

Mayor Bill Foster will be at Wildwood Recreation Center located at 1000 28th St. South on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. 

The Deterrence Response Outreach and Prevention (D.R.O.P.) team will be handing out free bicycle lights and helping cyclists get their bike registered in case it's ever stolen. 

They'll also give away The Club', while supplies last, to city residents holding a valid Florida driver's license, vehicle registration AND driving one of the following: any year Dodge/Chrysler; 1991-96 Saturn; 1991-97 Nissan Altima; 1988-99 Toyota Camry; 1990-99 Honda Accord; late 1980's-98 GM or any year Taurus, Explorer or Ford pickup.

Mayor Foster will host the final Mayor's Night Out of 2013 on October 10 at Gladden Park Center located at 3901 30th Ave. N. For more information, click here.
