Missing college student found locked in closet

St. Petersburg, FL -- Police say a college student who went missing on Saturday has been found safe.

21-year-old Hunter McDougal was found locked in a closet on USF campus.  He was reportedly dehydrated, but in good shape, and his family says they are thankful he is alive.

St. Petersburg Police are investigating. They're not sure how he got into the building, but he was found in a type of closet that can open from the outside and if the door closes, a person can be locked in.

McDougal had been missing since Saturday night. He was last seen at a St. Petersburg bar, after attending a concert earlier in the evening.

According to police, McDougal told them he was so drunk that he cannot remember what happened. His shorts and ID were found in a women's bathroom in that building.

At this point, police do not think there was any crime committed.
