Pinellas County commissioner invited for a special night at governor's mansion

Clearwater, Florida --Pinellas County Commissioner Norm Roche was among approximately 20 other select leaders from around the State of Florida to receive special recognition by Governor Scott as one of Florida’s top Community Leaders.

Commissioner Roche joined the honorees for a private reception and dinner with the Governor and First Lady. The special event was held Monday, October 21, 2013 at The Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee. Accompanying Roche to the reception and dinner was his daughter, Megan Roche, a graduate student and Teaching Assistant at Florida State University (FSU). Megan teaches classes at FSU and is currently working toward her Masters Degree in Communications and Religious Studies.

“It was an honor to be selected and in such great company, said Roche, the Governor and First Lady were truly remarkable and gracious hosts. And as a proud father of three, I could not have been more proud to be accompanied by my daughter.”
