FDOT announces Bay Area construction lane closures for November 24 - 30

Tampa Bay Area, Florida- The Florida Department of Transportation has announced the non-interstate lane closures for commuters to take into consideration next week.

They are as follows: 

Citrus County:

  • Florida Avenue (US 41) between the Hernando/Citrus County Line and Rip Terrace: Repaving – Tuesday night lane closures from 7:00 pm and 7:00 am.

Hernando County:

  • US 19 between SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) and the Hernando/Citrus County Line: Repaving – Intermittent daily lane closures Monday – Tuesday between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
  • SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) between US 19 and Wiscon Road: Widening – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Saturday from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. 
  • Jefferson Street (SR 50A) between Cortez Boulevard and Mildred Avenue: Repaving – Intermittent daily lane closures Monday - Tuesday between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm.  

Hillsborough County:

  • Dale Mabry Highway between Kennedy Boulevard and Hillsborough Avenue: Concrete repair/repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Tuesday from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am.
  • Dale Mabry Highway between Van Dyke Road and the Hillsborough/Pasco County Line: Repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Tuesday from 8:00 pm to 7:30 am.
  • U.S. 301 between Harney Road and Jackson Road: Widening – Daily southbound lane closures from Tuesday – Friday from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between I-4 and Laura Street: Repaving – Intermittent nightly lane closures Sunday – Tuesday between 7:30 pm and 6:00 am and intermittent daily lane closures Monday – Tuesday between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm.
  • US 41 between 34th Avenue and Hartford Street: Left turn lane modifications – Daily lane closures Monday – Tuesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Fowler Avenue approaching I-275 Eastbound: Sign testing –Nightly lane closures Monday – Tuesday from 8:30 pm to 6:30 am.

Pasco County: 

  • US 19 between the Pasco/Pinellas County Line and SR 52: Add pavement to right turns lanes, repaving – Daily northbound lane closures Monday – Tuesday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • US 19 between SR 52 and the Pasco/Hernando County Line: Add pavement to right turns lanes, repaving – Daily lane closures Sunday – Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 am.
  • US 301 between Pioneer Museum Road and Mosstown Road: Repaving – Daily lane closures Monday – Tuesday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
  • US 98 between US 301 and Oak Forest Drive: Repaving – Intermittent daily lane closures Monday – Tuesday between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
  • US 301 between Geiger Road and Tucker Road: Repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Tuesday from 9:30 pm to 5:30 am.

Pinellas County

  • Drew Street (SR 590) between Myrtle Avenue and Mariva Avenue: Repaving – lane closures Sunday – Tuesday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm.
  • 4th Street North between 5th Avenue and Koger Boulevard: Repaving - Nightly lane closures Sunday - Monday from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am. Daily lane closures Monday –Tuesday between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
  • Ulmerton Road between the Seminole Bypass Canal and El Centro/Ranchero Boulevard:  Widening – Nightly lane closures Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
  • Ulmerton Road between 119th Avenue and 10th Street: Widening – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Tuesday from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
