It’s not too early to think about taxes in Pinellas County

Pinellas County, Florida -- Many residents are eligible to receive the Earned Income Tax Credit and don’t know about it, nor do they realize the availability of free tax preparation.

Taxpayers can learn more during a conversation with Eddie Burch, communications and outreach coordinator with the Juvenile Welfare Board’s Children’s Service Council on Thursday, Jan. 2, on There’s No Place Like Home, the radio show sponsored by the Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County.

The radio program, which features different issues each month, airs the first Thursday of each month from 10:05 to 10:35 a.m. on WRXB 1590 AM. The show can also be watched on PCC-TV (Bright House 622, WOW 18 and Verizon 44), YouTube, or viewed online at www.pinellascounty.org/community/hfa/Media.htm

Questions or comments about the show may be emailed to HousingFinanceAuthority@pinellascounty.org.  Past shows can be found on YouTube at www.youtube.com/pcctv1.
