Huge drop in homeless in Pinellas County | News
St. Petersburg, Florida -- From hordes of homeless down to nearly none: Pinellas County has transformed itself in just one year.
More than a thousand people are off the streets and the county is set to become a national model on how to handle the homeless.
St. Petersburg put up much of the money to launch this countywide effort, and members of the St. Pete City Council will hear all about this success in a report Monday afternoon.
