Tarpon Springs, Florida -- A mansion murder mystery in Tarpon Springs has many unanswered questions

Last night Dr. Steven Schwartz was murdered at his home on Belcher Drive and was found near the garage. The only details being released at this time is that he had upper body trauma.

Police say Rebecca Schwartz came home and found her house burglarized. Her husband was no where to be found. Neighbors went to sleep thinking everything was under control. But they were alarmed when they woke up to police saying a body had been found.

Doctor's body found in Tarpon Springs mansion

Update: Tarpon Springs Police have identified the body found inside a mansion as its homeowner, 74-year-old Dr. Steven Schwartz. Police would not say a cause of death, other than to say Schwartz suffered from "upper body trauma."

Detectives say it does not appear to be a random act, and that anyone with information concerning this case is asked to call Tarpon Springs Police at 727-938-2849.

Deadly car crash in Largo hospital parking lot

Largo, Florida -- A woman is dead after a strange crash in the parking lot at Largo Medical Center late Wednesday night.

Largo Police officers say hospital security found 61-year-old Patricia McChesney trapped between her car and a parked car.

Swimmer saved from drowning on St. Pete Beach

ST. PETE BEACH, Florida (AP) - The quick actions of a Georgia man likely saved the life of a 66-year-old New York man who became tired while swimming about 100 yards off shore of St. Pete Beach.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old James DiFrancesco heard cries for help Tuesday evening and saw Terry Strecker go under water several times.

DiFrancesco, of Smyrna, Georgia, asked his wife to call 911 while he went to help the man. DiFrancesco assisted Strecker to shore.
