Palm Harbor, Florida -- The Greater Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce is holding its 2013 Legislative Breakfast this Friday, Jan. 11.

The Chamber says this is a great opportunity to meet their legislative delegation in an informal setting.

The breakfast will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Gulfport, Florida -- The City has made it easier for businesses to have outdoor seating and displays.

Outdoor seating and displays will still require a site plan, but of instead of going before council, city staff will review and can approve those plans.

Safety Harbor, Florida -- On Jan. 18, Safety Harbor residents are invited to come out and meet their new mayor, Joseph Ayoub.

The "Meet the Mayor" event will give people the opportunity to thank outgoing Mayor Andy Steingold as well as celebrate their newly appointed mayor.

Also in attendance will be Commissioners Nina Bandoni, Nancy Besore and Cliff Merz as well as newly elected Commissioner Rick Blake.

The event will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa.

Oldsmar City Council Candidate Forum

Oldsmar, Florida -- The City of Oldsmar and the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Candidate Forum on Thursday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 101 State St W. in Oldsmar.

Three candidates have qualified to run for the single available city council seat in the March 2013 election.  All are political newcomers.  They include long term Oldsmar residents and business owners Suda Yantiss and Daniel Saracki and Oldsmar newcomer Gabby Mc Gee.
