Tarpon culinary treasure re-opens under new management

Tarpon Springs, FL - If you remember the beloved Greek eatery Pappas Riverside welcoming guests at the entrance to the Tarpon Springs' sponge docks for 80 years, until it was sold in 2005, you'll be happy to hear the previously empty building is back up and running, open for lunch and dinner. The new Riverside Grille House is taking over the desirable waterfront location and high standards inherited from Louis Pappas himself.

Some of the Greek food and hard-working staff has carried over from the previous brand, but expect a unique new personality at the restaurant, which opened its doors on Nov. 19. While finding a happy compromise between a rich legacy and an exciting future, the new owners, Michael Lowe and Victor Holcomb, are excited to hear feedback from the Tarpon Springs community about the million dollar renovation and new menu.

With steaks, seafood, and - of course - Greek salad paired with a rooftop veranda, live entertainment, and enticing drink menus, odds are that this restaurant will still satisfy.
