Clearwater Beach, Florida -- A tradition that began on Island Estates and moved to the north beach will be held again this St. Patrick's Day at the Clear Sky Beachside Café.

Tommy Duff's "World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade" will begin at 5:05 p.m. - and end just about as quickly.

Clearwater Beach, Florida - Hooters Restaurants will open its newest venue on Clearwater Beach in mid-May.

"We don't have a target date at the moment but don't plan to do a Grand Opening," says chief marketing officer Denise Williams.

The restaurant will hold a "practice session" for friends and family a few days before they open, to give the staff time to before familiar with menu items, the layout and computer system.

Clearwater Beach, Fla. -- The beach is closer to having yet another restaurant.

Preliminary plans for a restaurant on the 2nd floor of the marina go before the city's Building Plans Review Committee next Wednesday, city officials say.

Harbormaster Bill Morris, Island Way Grill restauranteur Frank Chivas and his contractor will review plans for taking over the top floor offices which Chivas has been renting since October.

Mayor Foster brings his monthly breakfast forum to the diner, located at 561 Central Ave., to speak with residents one-on-one starting at 7 a.m.  Residents are encouraged to bring their appetite and support the diner with breakfast.

Pinellas Park, FL -- Enjoy the Mardi Gras Season with a stop at Cajun Café on the Bayou for two exciting parties.

First on Saturday, Feb. 18 the fun kicks off with JB's ZadecoZoo preforming live.  Gates open at 6 p.m. with a full cajun meal included with admission served till 9 p.m.

Tickets for the show is $15 in advcanced purchaed though Etix, or $18 at the gate.  Costumes are encouraged but not required.  Mardi Gras Hats will be on sale at the event.

Dunedin, FL -- After years of "Contain It!" being paired with "Trashy Treasures" for Dunedin Fine Art Center's Art Garage Sale, there is a new addition to this year's event! "Eat This!" has been added and will include bay area food trucks.

"Contain it!" is a multi-media installation fair, where select artists rework the interior of PODS to reflect their unique take on the space. This year's container artists include Kelly Boehmer, Deon Blackwell, Jordi Williams, Mitzi Gordon, Alain Salesse and Victoria Black.
