Learn Greek cooking from the expert!

Tarpon Springs, Florida -- The city of Tarpon Springs is known for its authentic Greek culture and Greek cuisine.  Now you can learn to cook authentic Greek dishes from an expert.

Cooking classes will once again be offered this weekend at the Safford House on Saturday, June 29 from noon-2:00pm.  Local community cook Katerina Zaronia will demonstrate how to make  kreatopites (filo stuffed with meat and cheese), horiatiki (Kalymnian village-style salad), and rizogalo (rice pudding.)

The cost of the class is just $20 and is limited to twelve people.

Pinellas County, Florida -- Contrary to recent news reports that a ban on credit card surcharges ended Jan. 27, 2013, Florida law continues to prohibit the practice. A surcharge is the extra fee a merchant adds when purchasing goods or services by credit card.

The Market will be open every Sunday (weather permitting) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The farmers market is a funding source for the Palm Harbor Historical Society to assist in the maintenance and operation of the North Pinellas Historical Museum.

Summer market returns this weekend

St. Petersburg, Florida -- The Saturday Morning Market's Summer Market returns to shaded Williams Park starting this weekend. The park is located in downtown on First Avenue N., between Third and Fourth Streets.

The Summer Market continues through August 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
