'Come Write In!' taking place for writers this November

Pinellas Park, Florida-- Find the story you hold inside at the Pinellas Park Library during their "Come Write In!" events this November.

To celebrate National Novel Writing Month during November, the library is setting aside a quiet place for aspiring writers to work on novels, poetry or screenplays in the company of other local writers.

Shoot for Success Trap Shoot

Pinellas Park, Florida- - Take aim with the best in the area at this year's Shoot for Success Trap Shoot.

This event will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at Skyway Trap and Skeet.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with safety instructions starting at 9:30 a.m.

Individual shooters can take part for only $50, with patron teams of 2 shooters for just $100.

You may also register a 5 member team for $250.

Join in the fun of the Born 2 Ride Monster Jam, taking place at England Brothers Park on Saturday, November 2nd.

Gates open for this event at 11 a.m. and it will run until 10 p.m.

Rock out to the sounds of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Paul Rogers (of Free, Bad Company and Queen), Foghat, David Allan Coe, Molly Hatchet and more musical guest.

Chalk Art Fest along the Beach Walk

Chalk Art Fest along the Beach Walk

Clearwater Beach, Florida - More than 20 artists will compete for $3,000 in cash prizes in the second annual Chalk Art Festival this month.

The free, family-friendly event will be held October 25-27th along the Beach Walk sidewalk and promenades of Clearwater's south beach.

This year there will be a Kid's Chalk area where young aspiring artists cam work alongside the adults.

The works will be judged Sunday Oct 27th according to size, merit and Best of Show.
