More south beach public parking gone
Clearwater Beach, Florida - Say goodbye, for a while, to another 72 public parking spaces on the south beach.
The city has agreed to lease public parking lot 32 on Gulfview Boulevard to the company building a new hotel where the Adam's Mark Hotel once stood. The parking spaces - 65 metered, 3 handicapped and 4 reserved -- will be used for employee parking, as well as access for trucks delivering materials for the construction site.
Salt Block 57, LLC, will pay the city $508,165 for exclusive use of the lot, for a period of 15 months.
