The featured guest is Tom Iovino, public information specialist with Pinellas County, who will provide helpful hurricane preparedness tips, resources and information needed to prepare you and your family for the upcoming hurricane season.

2012 Gulfport Hurricane Seminar

Gulfport, Florida -- The City of Gulfport, along with hurricane-related vendors, will be holding its 2012 Hurricane Seminar on Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m.

The National Weather Sevice's Warning Coordination Meteorologist Daniel Noah will be on hand as well to help inform residents on how to make the right decisions to help yourself and your family in a weather crisis.

The seminar will explore recent examples of tropical cyclone impacts that include storm surge, damaging wind, fresh water flooding, and tornadoes.
